Rainiest inertias: yes, it’s an anagram.

Or, arguably more precisely, the words are anagrams of each other.

I like anagrams. I like this pair of anagrams. I like other pairs of anagrams too and will probably blog about the fact at a later date: feel free to scroll on by if that doesn’t float your boat. Or have a look, you might end up finding words and anagrams as fascinating as I do.

Sometimes particular words, or pairs of words that are anagrams, stick in my head. Rainiest inertias is a pair that has been there for some time. It seemed like an apt name for a blog partly because the words are pleasing to me but also because they actual have meanings that are (OK only vaguely) relevant.

I live in a rainy city, that’s one of the things it is well known for, its rain. Sometimes it feels like it rains here every day from September to June. It is renowned as the RAINIEST city in the country, though actually there are others which are rainier.

Inertia is unfortunately another phenomenon that I experience alongside lots of rain. It’s also another thing I intend to blog about when I’m not feeling too inertial. I used to think I was a lazy procrastinator but now I’m a little more lenient with myself and accept that autistic inertia is a thing and that’s a part of why it takes me ages to start something and, unless I manage to really hyper focus, usually with a looming deadline, why I struggle to get things finished. It’s a miracle that this blog exists at all really. Lots of INERTIAS.
